It’s not often i do playground murals. I like to be selective of what schools i work with – only because its easy to become babysitters for kids, and the artist isn’t really respected. There are a few schools i would bend over backwards for, and Whitgreaves Primary School is one of them. I worked with their students to create this mural. This area will be transformed into an outdoor ‘garden’ teaching area, so the message had to reflect something about nature. I stumbled across the words of William Wordsworth – ‘Let Nature be your Teacher’ and that became the message. The imagery was taken from the childrens sketches and took over a week to do.

Olympic Graffiti Mural – Birmingham
Recently completed the Olympic Graffiti mural, launched the day the Torch relay events came through the city of Birmingham. The mural was painted in the week leading up to the event on July 1st. Working with Christian and Muslim youth from the organisation The Feast – and funded by Near Neighbours the mural overlooks Sparkhill back on the back of the derelict public swimming pool.
